Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book my travel health appointment?

We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks before you travel, as some vaccines and antimalarials need to be started well ahead of your trip and certain courses require more than one appointment. If you’re travelling sooner, please contact us we’ll do our best to fit you in and advise on your options.

We recommend booking an appointment in advance so we can allocate enough time for a full travel health risk assessment and answer any questions you may have. You can book online or by calling our team on +44 20 8980 2400.

Please bring your travel itinerary (including destinations and dates), any existing vaccination records or a Yellow Fever certificate if you have one, and a list of any medications you currently take. This helps our clinicians give you advice suited to your individual circumstances.

Some vaccines may be available free of charge on the NHS depending on your circumstances and destination — your GP practice can advise on NHS eligibility. Our clinic offers a private service, including vaccines and antimalarials that are not routinely available on the NHS, along with faster appointment availability.

Prices vary depending on the vaccine, medication or service required. Please see our Vaccine Prices page for up-to-date pricing, or contact our team directly for a personalised quote based on your travel plans.

This depends on the vaccine or service required and the child’s age and medical history. Please contact our team in advance to discuss your child’s travel plans so we can advise whether an appointment is suitable.
